Most of my career was with the VA where I saw Veterans with combat and complex PTSD and substance abuse issues. My last years of public service were on the Pine Ridge Indian reservation. I have utilized EMDR (as well as other methods) to treat trauma for most of my career, and have more recently added Internal Family Systems in helping clients move forward.
