I started my counseling career working with clients who were incarcerated with substance abuse/Addiction difficulties. I then worked at a community healthcare agency seeing clients suffering with many different diagnosis. At the community healthcare agency the clients were battling both emotional and physical difficulties. This background allowed me to recognize healing is a whole body experience. Now in my private practice I specialize in treating a variety of mental health diagnosis. I also help individuals who have suffered a concussion or Traumatic Brain Injury find a new normal. I have been told I'm supportive, calming and emphatic. I have a holistic counseling approach believing the persons lifestyle, their emotional well-being and their physical wellness work together to create our lives. We all have an ability to heal from our difficulties regardless how large or small. All we need to do is to ask for help then focus on healing "one step at a time".
