As a psychologist, Dr. Dan Weinstein works with adolescents and adults in psychotherapy to improve their relationships and communication skills, and to improve their effective coping and emotional regulation skills. He also assists parents to better understand the struggles faced by their adolescents by providing evaluations, psychotherapy, and educational services. He enjoys assisting students in developing effective problem-solving skills, reducing emotional and behavioral problems, coping with stress, getting along better with others, and strengthening their family relationships. Dr. Dan provides professional consultation services and has given over 100 presentations to groups of parents, students, teachers, school counselors, and school social workers. Dr. Dan has worked in various mental health settings over the past 25 years, preparing him to use a variety of methods to help clients with wide-ranging difficulties. He specializes in ADHD, LD, and diagnostic evaluations. Other specialties include adolescent and child emotional and behavioral problems; adolescent therapy, family therapy, and therapy with young adults.
