Dr. Lisa Elwood specializes in working with trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and is a quality provider of cognitive processing therapy (CPT). She received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Arkansas. She completed a pre-doctoral internship with the Charleston Consortium in Charleston, SC. Following graduation, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship with the Center for Trauma Recovery at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She is currently licensed as a Psychologist (Health Service Provider in Psychology) in the states of Indiana and Missouri. She is board certified (ABPP) in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology. She works as a core faculty member with the Ponce Health Sciences University, St. Louis campus, doctoral program (PsyD). She remains involved in research in addition to teaching and practice.
